“Sometimes when things fall apart, well, that’s the big opportunity to change.”
Therapy, as with most things, evolves over time.
Over the past few years, I’ve adapted my practice to include eco-therapy “walk and talk” sessions, climate-aware therapy, telehealth, and new directions in creative arts therapy!
As a fellow traveler through the pandemic, the climate crisis, and all of the other existential crises surrounding us today, I hope to reassure you that you are not alone, and offer support and tools to help uplift you and build resilience through the unpredictability that is Life.
Who do I work with?
• Adults of all ages
• Expecting, postpartum, or moms of any stage (i.e. maternal mental health)
• Young adults/ transitional aged youth
• Teens and kiddos aged 8+ up
• Anyone feeling creatively “stuck," or wanting to make a change in their life, or in the throes of an uncomfortable life transition.
• Anyone struggling with climate-related distress (e.g. eco-anxiety, eco-grief).
As a psychotherapist - art therapist - writer hybrid, I welcome you with humor and realness, inviting you into a safer space where you can explore creatively (possibly through art-making) what is troubling you. I encourage a mind-body exploration, as well as connecting to emotions, anchoring in values, and maintaining or rekindling your relationship with the "more-than-human world" in a way that feels authentic.
May we all live our truths in our lifetimes.
